It is the true great Friuli red wine, whose grapes are actually native to the Colli Orientali del Friuli area. It is a structured wine, full rich in character, but gentle and velvety, with a garnet red color that turns to the purple and with aromas of wild blackberry and other wild berries; it is a combination of aromas and feelings that place this wine among the greatest Italian reds. The flavor is dry, a bit tannic, full bodied, with a persistent aftertaste.
